Warner told reporters Saturday PURE will get underway as soon as it gets final approval from Nipdec.
He said the ministry plans to employ 150 contractors to handle the projects. He added that he would offer work to some former PURE employees who have taken other jobs.
Warner said up to 4,000 people would get immediate employment on these projects.
Speaking about politics, Warner said the national executive (Natex) of the United National Congress (UNC) would meet soon.
The UNC chairman said his political leader would announce some important matters including a schedule for meetings of the party’s National Congress, Women’s Congress and Youth Congress.
Speaking about his own plans, Warner said he wants to focus on the computerising of the voting lists for party members and also a longer membership period of possibly five years.
Currently the UNC has two types of membership - a life membership and an ordinary membership, which must be renwed every year.
