Rambachan off to India for bilateral discussions

Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Surujrattan Rambachan is leading a delegation to the Inaugural Session of the Joint Commission between Trinidad and Tobago and India on November 28 to 29 in New Delhi.

The T&T delegation includes: 

• the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Communication, Margaret Parillon
• Chandradath Singh the T&T High Commissioner to India
• Gerard Greene, Director, Bilateral Relations Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Officers from the High Commission of Trinidad and Tobago to India.

The agenda for the two-day session includes:

• Health Care/Medical Tourism
• Tourism
• Transport, including civil aviation
• Energy including renewable energy
• Trade and Industry
• ICT
• Culture
• Agriculture including technical cooperation
• Climate Change and Meteorological Services

Housing Minister Dr. Roodal Moonilal will act for Rambachan during his absence from the country.
