Ministry of the People has donated $500,000 to rebuild the Credo Drop-In and Development Centre for Socially Displaced Boys, which was destroyed in a fire four years ago.
The centre helps street children and those living in abusive situation, providing them with the personal, social and educational skills needed to become successful and self-reliant.
Minister of the People Dr Glenn Ramadharsingh joined the Mayor of Port of Spain, Louis Lee Sing and Credo’s executive director, Sister Roberta O’Flaherty, at a sod-turning ceremony Wednesday at Nelson Street, Port-of-Spain.
