The revelations today (Saturday) of the Guanapo Church construction being linked with UDeCOTT, Calder Hart and the PM should cause Dr. Rowley enough concern to review his position on his party’s leader, and ship captain.
Does he realize that in a very short time Mr. Manning may be found in breach of the Integrity laws of the land and faced with incarceration?
The produced evidence is damning even at this stage.
Indeed, in the light of Dr. Rowley’s objection to the NAPA Hotel, was he also aware of irregularities in the design and construction and payment for the PM’s residence? Were his concerns over UDeCOTT limited to the NAPA building? Did he say that he had mentioned his concerns since 2003?
Not only should Dr. Rowley be concerned, but every official of the PNM party. And if the suspected corruption is real, was it really possible that it was confined to the knowledge of Manning and Hart?
How were payments to UDeCOTT approved and made?
These issues will not evaporate. The DPP, Commissioner of Police and integrity Commission have all been drafted into their investigation.
This is a tragedy for the nation.
Dr. Rowley has a clear duty in the present circumstances.
