Today's behaviour in the Parliament of Trinidad & Tobago by the former Political Leader and Oopposition Leader Basdeo Panday and his accomplice Kelvin Ramnath can only be described as a betrayal of the highest order.
Under no circumstances can this type of indiscipline be tolerated by the UNC.
it is my view that the disciplinary committee must be reactivated and legitimized to take action on this untenable action and behaviour of Basdeo Panday and Kelvin Ramnath.
It is very clear that their action now and in the future are designed to bring the party into disrepute and humiliation.
The mandate of the membership has demanded CHANGE and have rejected the Basdeo Panday style of politics. The voices of the people have spoken; Panday must go now.
