Walcott gets $1M, house, land; CAL plane and Toco lighthouse to be named after him

Keshorn Walcott returned home from the London Olympics Monday morning to a hero's welcome and a number of gifts from the government of Trinidad & Tobago.

Walcott, 19, won a gold medal at the 2012 Games in the Javelin event. It was the second Olympic Gold medal for T&T in its history. Hasely Crawford won Gold at the Montreal Olympics in 1976 in the 100 metre sprint.

The Toco teenager arrived at Piarco International Airport with some members of the Olympic team including the Bronze medal winners. It was T&T's best ever Olympics, capturing one gold and three Bronze medals. The country's ranking was 47 out of 79 nations that won medals.
