Keshorn Walcott greets fans in POS |
The project was organised by the Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of the People and Ministry of Sport, with the Olympians moving through the communities in a motorcade.
Walcott stopped to visit the St Micheal Boys' School along the Diego Martin Main Road and jumped off a truck to meet and greet fans as he handed out flags to the young boys from the school. He signed autographs and posing for pictures with some of the boys before getting back on the truck.
Local councillors selected the people to receive the hampers, which the Olympians distributed with the aid of volunteers.
