The Highway Re-Route Movement on Monday removed its new camp outside the market at Debe shortly after the Commissioner of State Lands signed an eviction order instructing the group to vacate the State lands.

The leader of the group told reporters the protest will continue with a new camp outside the Hall of Justice in Port-of-Spain. Wayne Kublalsingh also said the group would rebuild a camp in Debe on private lands.

The group would not be intimidated, he said. "On Wednesday, we will be moving a new camp in front of the Hall of Justice and on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday we will start legal action," Kublalsingh said. He added that he is going the legal route because he has exhausted all attempts to have diplomatic talks with Government.
