Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar is expected to return to work Monday.
Persad-Bissessar became ill on Wednesday last week and was admitted to the St Clair Medical Centre for check-ups.
Doctors discharged her on Friday morning. The Prime Minister suffers from hypertension and diabetes. However doctos say the tests showed she had no major health complications.

Persad- Bissessar spent time with family over the weekend when they performed a pooja at her home in Phillipine, San Fernando. Both Persad-Bissessar and her grandson, Kristiano, are recovering from recent bouts of dengue fever.
