Acting Commissioner of Police Stephen Williams said Monday police will issue permits for persons operating within the 9pm-5am curfew period. He said anyone who has to be out during those hours can apply for permits at the Police Stations near their homes.
He said organisations falling within the Essential Services can apply for permits for their employees at Police Headquarters. He added that persons traveling out of Piarco airport can receive their passes next to the Domestic Terminal at the airport.
"Passes are being issued for persons who will be required by way of issues around work, persons falling within the realm of the Essential Services to facilitate them to and from their workplace," he said.
