Police Commissioner Dwayne Gibbs told reporters Thursday law enforcement personnel arrested 183 persons between 8am on Wednesday and 8am Thursday.

Gibbs made the disclosure at the daily media briefing. "Our crime rates, in terms of the daily crimes that are occurring, have been substantially reduced, and we are some success in terms of the gang-related targets," Gibbs told reporters.

National Security Minister Brigadier John Sandy also confirmed that a gang leader from Trinidad was held in Tobago.
"We were able to pick up one of the leaders from the East of Trinidad, in Tobago. So this shows that we are not concentrating only in the areas under curfew," he said.
