A scientifically conducted opinion poll for the Guardian media suggests that Kamla Persad-Bissessar is the top choice for prime minister and that her performance in office is good.
The ANSA McAL Psychological Research Centre conducted the poll between April 13 and 16, 2011.
The breakdown from the 510 respondents gives top marks to Persad-Bissessar:
Respondents also rated former PM Patrick Manning (4 per cent) and Congress of the People (COP) leader Winston Dookeran (3 per cent).

- 36 per cent support Persad-Bissessar for PM
- 14 per cent support Keith Rowley for PM
- 5 per cent support for Jack Warner as PM
Respondents also rated former PM Patrick Manning (4 per cent) and Congress of the People (COP) leader Winston Dookeran (3 per cent).
Twenty-seven per cent did not give a response to the question and five per cent said they don't know who would make the besgt PM if an election is held right now.
