Today I have received an advice from the Honourable Attorney General. Upon the basis of his opinion, I have decided to advise His Excellency the President, of my intention to revoke the appointment of Mary King as Senator and Minister. It is a sombre decision, but one which upholds the principles of good governance and integrity in public office, to which my Administration remains fully committed.
