The regional airline LIAT on Friday confirmed that it will stop its service to Tobago from July 6, 2011.
A brief statement from LIAT did not give a specific reason for the change other than to say the decision came "after careful review and analysis."
LIAT serves 22 destinations. Tobago is the only destination to be dropped. LIAT had promised to offer affected passengers either a full credit or change their travel to Trinidad.
Liat is owned by regional governments, with the major shareholders being the Governments of Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
