Photo story: Tobago woman is "Teacher of the Year"

Education Minister Dr Tim Gopeesingh presents the "Teacher of the Year" award to Isabel Burris-Paul

Isabel Burris-Paul of Parlatuvier Tobago is the country's Teacher of the Year. She won the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers' Association (TTUTA) award for her "tenacity in brainstorming initiatives and her obvious love for teaching".

She said through God she was able to overcome obstacles and challenges and with God nothing is impossible and without Him nothing is possible. She reminded her colleagues they "must be possessed of the will to teach.”
