UNC Chairman urges members to learn from yesterday to build stronger tomorrow
NEW YEAR message from JACK WARNER, Chairman of the UNC:
This is a glorious period for the children of the United National Congress.
Around this same time last year, the party was mobilising to host the internal elections with a view to prepare the party to hold on to the reins of power and rescue our country from the scourge that was plaguing the land.
One year later we can look back and hold our heads high for our dreams have been realised, our mission has been accomplished and we have seen the vision of a new tomorrow dawning right before our eyes.
The year 2011 will not be without challenges but we will not consult our fears but live in the sunshine of our hope.
We will not think about our frustrations but seek to realise the unfulfilled potential that lie deep within.
We will not concern ourselves with the times that we failed but will encourage each other with the gains we have made.
In 2011, we must learn from yesterday and build a stronger tomorrow.
As Chairman of this glorious party let me take this opportunity to thank every member of the United National Congress for their commitment and undying support and unconditional love in 2010 and wish every member success in 2011.
May God grant you all the knowledge and wisdom to succeed and reward every one of you with his richest blessings.
May God bless you all.
