Letter: Colm Imbert for PNM leader?

One only has to look at the news - the scenes of flooding throughout Central and South Trinidad - to understand fully the appalling incompetence of the PNM's Minister of Works, Colm Imbert.

Go back through the media - check the promises, commitments and assurances of this man - as he claimed he would stop the flooding. And it is easy to stop!

And this flooding from the very first showers of the year, where the ground is still not saturated and could absorb the steady, but essentially "normal" rainfall which we have experienced.

As a new dispensation moves in, and moves to clear and improve the drainage, those of you who are affected by the floods should consider how fortunate we are that we have rid ourselves of a government who claimed that it was God who caused the flooding, and yet claimed that they were so close to God!

And there are people in the PNM who want Imbert as their leader?

Who would have thought that the PNM would seek worse before better?
