Photo story: Indian HC pledges to support T&T on environmental

High Commissioner of India to Trinidad and Tobago Gauri Shankar Gupta paid a courtesy call on the Minister of the Environment and Water Resources, Ganga Singh on Wednesday 29th January 2014 at the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources. They discussed the strengthening Trinidad and Tobago’s bilateral relations with India, particularly in the areas of environmental protection and sustainability.  Minister Singh highlighted several ongoing projects of the MEWR’s Agencies and Divisions including the establishment of new pipelines, ground water aquifers and desalination plants as the Government works to achieve ‘Water for All’. Gupta presented Minister Singh with a keepsake book entitled ‘India - For a Billion Reasons’.
