Two Information Technology (IT) specialists have arrived at the same conclusion that the 31 emails presented by Opposition Leader Dr Keith Rowley during his motion of no confidence in the Prime Minister and Government were indeed fabricated.
Attorney General Anand Ramlogan in his statement to the police on the matter has attached the reports from two IT specialists Roger Sealey and Terrance Mohan who stated the controversial e-mails were faked.
Although the police are yet to interview the Prime Minister, the Attorney General and the Minister of Works and Infrastructure Dr Suruj Rambachan, it should be noted they have all indicated their willingness to co-operate.
I find it commendable that the Attorney General has taken initiative in getting separate specialists in the field to analyze the emails. The evidence in support of the authenticity of the emails seems to be on par with Dr Rowley's credibility; i.e. severely lacking.

We can only hope that as the investigation winds down, Dr Rowley will exercise better judgement from future whistle blowers.
