More leave for Manning; Sando East MP not ready for work

Patrick Manning is still not ready to return to work in Parliament. Speaker Wade Mark advised legislators on Friday that he has approved an additional 42 days of medical leave for the former Prime Minister and MP for San Fernando East.
That leave begins on March 6 and expires on April 16.
Manning suffered a stroke in january 2012 and has been on medical leave since then. The state has covered his medical bills.
