Seemungal promised to provide additional land for Dipsingh to expand his food production operations.
The minsters also visited abandoned Tilapia farms in Brickfield to determine if it's possible to revive aquaculture in the area.
Ramdial said, "We are seeking to assist small farmers with all resources from financing to marketing in order to push forward the goal of self-sufficiency and cutting the nation’s food import bill."
