Former PNM cabinet minister Wendell Mottley is the new chairman of The Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation (TTUTC). His appointment took effect at the beginning of the year.
He replaces Amoy Chang Fong who held the position since 2004.
Mottley held the finance portfolio in the first Patrick Manning administration from 1991 to 1995.
He is also a former Managing Director and Senior Advisor at Credit Suisse, a leading investment banking firm. He left that position in December 2011.
Mottley, who is a an award winning Olympic athlete, earned economics degrees from Yale and Cambridge.
