Letter: We feeh cook wid coconut, not curry

Madam Prime Minister, since the Toobago Organization of The People is part of the People's Partnership and you is the head of the PP, it have no way the wipeout TOP get cannot be a slap for you so reason to mek meh put pen to paper to explain why TOP lose everything at this crucial time.

Madam, is because here we feeh cook wid coconut, not curry. Leh me brek it down for you.

Toobago people does put Toobago people fust. When big fish ah prowling, is den flying fish does take wing. In English words, the PNM roused the people like if some catastrophe as Hurricane Flora would return to mash up Tobago if TOP win.

In case you ent know much about Flohra, when they did announce she on the way, Toobagonians who wasn't talking to Toobagonian fuhget they was enemy and join han to save theyself, they picknee and property.

The TOP never managed to jump out the water like flying fishes do and escape the nagging suspicion the PNM and PFT together planted in people's mind. As the days wore on, those suspicions kept churning up until they thundered ashore in a mighty breaker, similar to what we experienced a few days ago.

If the TOP wants to remain a serious contender, it has to learn quickly how to skip the turbulence and sail the air currents by focusing only on the serious issues. But, that doesn't mean the TOP must forget how to swim, since popular politics is a business where people have to be able to switch between being fish and fowl in the twinkle of the eye to survive.

Congratulations to all the winners! This time, the winners took all. I hope the winning side doesn't feel they're flying fishes in an ocean all alone, so could wheel and deal below the radar - the two TOP MPs will be on their tail like "baracouta" before anybody could say Jack or Robinson!
