UNC's Monday Night Forum is back; party meets in Debe Monday

The United National Congress is resuming its Monday Night Forum (MNF), which was used successfully to keep members informed about political activities while the party was in opposition.

The meetings were suspended during the 2010 general election campaign. They are being revived now to keep the UNC membership advised of important developments.

The first of the meetings is scheduled to take place on Monday Nov. 26 at the Debe High School. The theme of Monday's meeting is the Highway to Point Fortin and the issues surrounding the controversial Re-route movement.

The party has invited all members and others interested in learning about the UNC and these issues. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Speakers will include Political Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
