Keith Rowley and the PNM held a Divali celebration Saturday in St James. The leader of the People's National Movement told reporters, “I am thoroughly enjoying it.

The party and the St James Improvement Committee were joint hosts of the event.

“It is the first time we are having this celebration outside of Balisier House. It was an idea of the Hindu members of the PNM. They wanted to do this and we said go ahead...The idea is working fine. We will see how we go with it,” Rowley added.

Pennelope Beckles Robinson, Marlene McDonald and Fitzgerald Hinds were among the PNM jefes attending.
