Businessman Alimuddin Mohammed has joined the board of National Flour Mills (NFM) to fill a vacancy created by the death of Director Mayanti Beharry.
The directors appointed Mohammed at a Board Meeting held on 27 January 2012. He will hold the position until the next Annual Meeting of NFM at which time he will be eligible for election as a Director.
Mohammed is a San Juan based businessman with extensive experience and training in the insurance industry. He is a past president of the San Juan Businessmen Association and is currently its Director of Education & Research.
He also served on the Board of the Tourism Development Company Ltd and the National Commission for Self Help. He is an avid community and social worker who is actively involved in local culture.
