"Re: allegation of a pending complaint against the Honourable Prime Minister.
"Your letter dated August 3rd, 2011 on the caption subject refers, I have been directed by the Integrity Commission to advise you that as of the above date (August 4th), there is no complaint against you in relation to any matter before the Commission."

"The evidence in black and white was clear. That the AG had never visited those Missions and therefore was not in any position to make remarks to anyone at any of those Missions that Dr Rowley alleged," Persad-Bissessar said.
"That pattern of behaviour, I am saying there are lies and lies and lies and this is what has happened with respect to the matter. We see letters and lies. I am saying here this letter gives the lie to the allegations being made by Senator Hinds.
"I am very concerned in the regard because what happens, the Opposition is taking one point and stretching it into a million things. We see the lies, repeated lies as their modus operandi, a pattern of behaviour that has developed amongst them," she added.
Hinds told reporters he stands by his statements.
