Photo story: CEPEP workers angry, demand compensation

CEPEP workers staged a noisy demonstration Monday outside the offices of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) in Port of Spain.

They claimed that many of them had been fired with no compensation and blamed the Prime Minister for their plight.

"You did nothing for us, you send us home. My child is nine months. How I could feed him without a job?" one woman shouted.

Another claimed that the PM broke her election promise of not interfering with CEPEP.
