The RBC Lion replaced the familiar RBTT trademark Monday, signaling the changeover for the financial institution.
The Chief Executive Officer of Caribbean Banking for RBC said by 2012 millions of Caribbean customers will benefit from the unified operations of all branches across the Caribbean.
Suresh Sookhoo confirmed that RBC has invested significant sums to integrate RBTT and RBC across the Caribbean. He said RBC clients and customers can benefit from the bank's regional and global strengths.
The bank will be known as RBC Royal Bank. It operates in 19 countries, with close to 7,000 employees and 125 branches serving 1.6 million clients. Its regional headquarters is in Port of Spain.
