The management of the regional commuter airline LIAT and the unions representing workers at its City Ticketing Offices (CTOs) will meet on Friday to continue the dialogue regarding the closure of the city offices.
LIAT and the unions have been in talks for approximately 18-months in a bid to make the process as smooth as possible for the affected employees.
LITA's Corporate Communications Manager Desmond Brown said Wednesday approximately 34 employees will be affected by the closure of the offices in Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia and St. Vincent.
