Watch out for delays on Monday and for the next six months on the northbound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway from Chaguanas to Radio Beacon, just before the Caroni River.
The lane would be closed from 8 to 5 every day.
It's because the Ministry of Works and Transport is beginning road construction works on that section of the highway.
The ministry has apologised for the inconvenience and has asked everyone using the road to exercise caution in the construction zone and to observe all barriers and directional signs.
The ministry has warned that there will be heavy construction vehicles along the roadway and there will be open trenches during the construction.
