World Indian Network (Win TV) has dropped its Crime Watch show hosted by Ian Alleyne.
The Trinidad Express reported that Alleyne was handed a letter of dismissal by the company's chairman, Mohan Jaikaran, advising that WIN TV no longer needed his services. The paper said Alleyne believes the move was politically motivated.
Alleyne, the President of the Trinidad and Tobago Crime Watch, created the Crime Watch show a few years ago, which investigated hundreds of matters and assisted the police in the arrest of suspects.
