A media report Sunday said police in Trinidad and Tobago have obtained court orders to see the financial records of former executive chairman of the UDeCOTT Calder Hart.
The Sunday Newsday said the orders were served on the bank last week after the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) obtained the High court order on behalf of a team of investigators probing Hart.
The former UDeCOTT boss left the country with his family shortly before the release of the report of an ninquiry into UDeCOTT and the construction sector.
Hart is under investigation for several magtters, including the award of lucrative government contracts to relatives.
Police are also focusing their investigation into the taruba stadium project which is still incomplete nearly a decade after it started. The expenditure on the project has cross one billion dollars, more than three times the original projected cost.
