Photo Story: Jack drops in on constituents bearing Divali gifts

For the second time this week, Jack Warner has been appointed to act for Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

On Wednesday he had the responsibility when the Prime Minister went to Barbados for the State funeral of the late Prime Minister of Barbados, David Thompson. On Friday - Divali day -  he was again acting PM as Persad-Bissessar and a delegation left for St Lucia to survey the damage done by Hurricane Tomas.

The Chaguanas West MP and Chairman of the United National Congress (UNC) spent the morning Friday visiting his constituents and handing out gifts to celebrate the Divali holiday.
