Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar is on the ground in Couva assessing first hand the damage to the area caused by the heavy rains.
Earlier she visited Gasparillo and parts of central Trinidad.
The PM assures all citizens that her government will do all in it power to bring help bring relief to all affected.
