Wear white if you want to win, Baptist woman tells Manning

A woman who gave her name as Lystra Mitchell made it onstage with Patrick Manning during a People's National Movement (PNM) meeting Tuesday in San Fernando, saying she meant no harm but just wanted to deliver a message to the PNM leader.

But the PNM leader refused to shake hands on touch the woman who said she was not a "prophetess" but a Spiritual Baptist.

Still Manning called in his security detail who removed her from the stage.

She told reporters she was attempting to tell Manning what he has to do to win the May 24 general election and how he could have eternal life.

A report in the Trinidad Express describing the event said the woman danced and said: "I have a message to give the prime minister. A house divided will never stand...hundreds of lives at stake. We will win the election but only if he does what I say".

She advised Manning must wear white in the final 12 days of the election if he wants to win.
