The electoral authority in Trinidad and Tobago has failed to meet Monday's deadline for publishing the country's revised list of voters for the May 24 general election.
Leslie Fitzpatrick, the communications manager at the Elections and Boundaries (EBC) told the Trinidad Express that it will be ready "before the end of this week". he did not say what caused the delay.
The list will show the names of all persons entitled to vote. It will be broken up according to polling stations in each of the 41 constituencies.
The list is based on the electoral registration process between April 12 and 20.
The most recent list shows that there are 1,036,939 eligible voters. It was 990,467 in 2007.
