Letter: Why crime not an election issue for PNM

The grovelling of Martin Joseph on television tonight (Friday) must have sickened the hearts of those rational, educated and professional PNM members who are still hoping to save their Party.

The "best ever" Minister of National Security told us that we should not make Crime "the issue" in this election. He told us to look the other way.

He told us that it was not for want of commitment that crime prevailed. He told us it was not for the want of money that crime flourished. He told us, but he obviously did not understand what he was saying, that despite all the commitment and money, he had failed.

Deliverance?
