Jack Warner's wife, Maureen, was injured Thursday by a heavy object thrown into the crowd at a UNC meeting in Couva while the party's Couva South candidate Rudranath Indarsingh’s address.
Maureen Warner was hit on the leg and her friend, Joanne Mora was hit on the upper left forearm. Both of them were seated in a VIP area.
Mora moved to another seat but both of them refused to leave to get medical attention.
It was the second time a UNC meeting had been disturbed. On Monday two dozen protesters interrupted a UNC meeting in St Joseph.
