Today - Tuesday April 20 - is the last day to register to vote in the May 24 general election.
The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) has said persons registered to vote back in November 5, 2007 election are most likely still registered now.
But the commission is advising all citizens 18 and over to check and complete their registration by the end of the day.

The revised voters' list shows that 1,036,939 are eligible to cast ballots in the election. That's an increase of 46,472 from 2007. Persons who turn 18 on April 20, 2010 are eleigibe to vote. The EBC has advised them to check with an EBC office and register.
