Photo story: PNM cancels Chin Chin meeting

It's unsual for a political party to cancel a political meeting in the height of election season.

But that's what happened this week when the governing People's National Movement (PNM) had to scrub a meeting at Chin Chin junction in the heart of the opposition stronghold of Caroni East.

The PNM said "inclement weather" was the reason for not holding the meeting. The election is on May 24.
