OBJECTIVES:
- Shape policy in consultation with everyone at the national executive level
- Consider feedback from the grassroots members
- Hold regular contact sessions with all principal stakeholders
- Ensure that the Party’s administrative arm functions responsibly and professionally Organise and execute regular fundraising activities
- Develop political strategies and prepare the Party to WIN elections
- Shape policy that would allow the Party to be responsible and responsive in government
EXECUTING OBJECTIVES:
- Convene regular sessions of national experts to identify national issues, analyse strategies and develop policies
- Convene regular sessions with grassroots members to get their views on local and national issues
- Conduct meetings such that all views can be freely expressed without fear of victimization
- Encourage dialogue based on conflicting ideas and constructive criticism in order to arrive at consensus
- Make public, minutes of all open meetings/conferences to bridge the gaps between experts, officials and the grassroots
- Operate a bottom-up policy of consultation by asking the grassroots for ideas, and help get these ideas into policy
- Establish the mechanism to generate feedback and raise issues
- Make use of effective mass communications involving various channels, including an interactive website and use of social media
- Present policy issues, Parliamentary matters and other national concerns in a user-friendly manner, so that everyone understands the issues
- Hold internal elections once every two years, with a fixed date, for example, the first Sunday of every October, every other year
