The more things are different, the more they are the same sometimes.
The Prime Minister brands anyone who questions his government as unpatriotic and anti-PNM.
Anyone who has questioned Mr Panday and his meeting with the PM is called illiterate, ignorant of the constitution and his duty, and a PNM spy.
Suddenly, Mr Panday's duty is the most important thing to him!
Where was his sense of duty when, with corruption charges around his neck, he insisted in leading the UNC into an election?
Where was his duty when for approximately 18 months his constituents had no representation in Parliament because his seat was vacated due to his conviction?
Where was his duty when for another 10 months his constituents had no MP in the House of Representatives because he was kicked out for disrespecting the Chair and refusing to apologize?
Where is his sense of duty when in two years he has participated in no more than three Parliamentary debates?
Where was his sense of responsibility and duty when he refused to meet President Robinson during his term as Prime Minister?
Has he been meeting regularly with President Richards as is his duty?
Where is his sense of duty when he drives out and double crosses persons from the leadership of the UNC?
Where is his sense of duty when he refuses to listen to the voice of the people who say he is the obstacle to opposition unity?
