He remains a member of the CL board, which will now be chaired by Shafeek Sultan-Khan, who also holds the post of chairman of the Water and Sewerage Authority.
CL Financial approached the Government for a financial help in January and was able to secure a billion-dollar rescue package.
Last Friday, Chaguanas West MP Jack Warner told the House of Representatives that Bobb had resigned. He said he was informed by "A little birdie".
But Bobb subsequently denied that he had resigned.
