The world football body has nominated Warner for another four-year term. It's his seventh consecutive term on the FIFA executive. He will serve as FIFA vice-president and CONCACAF’s Caribbean representative with American Chuck Blazer as secretary. Both men were unopposed.
Warner and Blazer will begin their new terms at the conclusion of the FIFA Congress which will be held on June 3 in the Bahamas, two days after the XXVI CONCACAF Ordinary Congress.
Warner, who was first elected to the FIFA executive in 1983, is also president of the Caribbean Football Union and serves as chairman of the Organising Committee for the FIFA Under-17 and Under-20 World Cups.
Blazer has served as the North America representative and on the FIFA Executive Committee since 1996.
