A luxury Range Rover stolen from Birmingham was later purchased by a leading politician in Trinidad, it has emerged.
The sports SUV disappeared five years ago after being hired by someone using a false name from Brindleyplace-based Lombard Vehicle Management.
But it was later traced to the Caribbean isle where it was bought by Independent Liberal Party deputy leader Anna Deonarine-Rampersad.
