Opposition Leader Dr Keith Rowley is happy that Ken Gordon is not resigning as chairman of the Integrity Commission.
"It’s good that he had not resigned, because I don’t think that the circumstances warranted it,” Rowley told the Guardian newspaper. He suggested that critics would have negative remarks about the meeting no matter where it took place.
He admitted that things did not go "as they should have" but insisted that there never was any reason for anyone to resign. He added that he regretted that he met Gordon at the chairman's home. "I didn’t like the way the meeting created the opportunity for persons to misrepresent it,” he said.
