Gordon invited Rowley to a meeting at his home five days before the May 20th Opposition no confidence motion at which he divulged confidential information to Rowley.
Since then there have been calls for Gordon to resign.
The Prime Minister wrote to the President earlier in the week outlining her concerns about the matter. Following her talks with Carmona she told reporters the meeting was "cordial and frank".

She added, "I raised my concerns with His Excellency and am not at liberty to disclose the details of our discussion.”
Reporters asked if she could give any details of the appointment of new members to the commission. She said the President “indicated that he is in the process of putting together that commission and we should be hearing from him before the end of the week.”
The Prime Minister also clarified media reports that her last meeting with the President was on May 8. "We meet or speak regularly, so it is not correct to say that I last met with His Excellency more than a month ago,” she said.
