The UNC is the main partner in the People's Partnership government, holding 21 of the 29 seats in the government bench. The Congress of the People (COP) holds six and the other two are held by the Tobago Organisation of the People (TOP).
The MP for the D'Abadie/O'Meara constituency is Sports Minister Anil Roberts. He will attend and speak at the meeting although he is a member of the COP.
Last year Roberts attended UNC meetings and spoke on the party's platform as a member of the People's Partnership political coalition.
Roberts announced last week that he is suing several media houses and the chairman of his party.
