Rajendra Dubay dedicates his daily inspirational thoughts today to his late mother-in-law, SOOKDHAYA MAHADEOSINGH, who died on February 4th. Her funeral is today, February 7th.
LEAVING A LEGACY
Not buildings, not statues, not even books can touch your heart the way a person can.
My mother-in-law Sookdhaya Mahadeosingh, was a simple woman who touched the heart of everyone she met. She touched it with kindness; she touched it with love; she touched it with her simple smile.
She was a mother to her entire neighbourhood and loved by all because of her simplicity. She was an excellent cook and cooked for the entire community in many functions.
What I remember most about her is her smile; she was always smiling. Her smile could make your day.
I'm sure wherever she is now, she is still smiling and making others happy.
Rest in peace mother, you did your duty well, it is now important for those who remain behind to honour your memory by living in peace and togetherness.
